I was born in 1955 in Budapest.

In 1978 I graduated from the College of Fine Arts as a student of Ignac Kokas. Beside several group exhibitions I have had 20 individual as well in Hungary, Austria, Germany and Sweeden.

Since 1993 I live in Solymán with my beautiful family.

Beside painting, from my young age my hobbies are photography and computer programming.

On 12th November, 2018 Peter Tiry died after a serious illness which he handeled with patience. He left a a huge gap in the Hungarian contemporary abstract painting.
His creations are still available in our Gallery.
